  1. Plan, install and maintain high profile site running 4 clustered, load-balanced Netscape Application Servers, Oracle DB,  Netscape Directory Server and 4 Netscape Enterprise Web Servers with 40,000+ registered users;

  2. Manage Level 4 loadbalancing on Alteon webswitches.

  3. Encode Realmedia Server content and administrate multicasted live broadcasts;

Field Engineer, Baker Atlas (a subsidiary of Baker Hughes Inc.(BHI)) Aug, 1997 – Sep, 1999

Serve as team leader for a crew to operate remote controlled geophysical instruments. Work involves 24/7 field operation and hardware/software troubleshooting of HP-UNIX servers (HP-UX 10.20) clustered by proprietary software. Utilize various telemetry protocols transmitted via wireline to maintain connectivity with remote instruments. Set up and utilize satellite uplink to transfer data to data center or fax server

Responsible for troubleshooting all the other mission-critical electromechanical equipment, satellite data transmission system, fax servers, calibration of equipment, documenting of all processes, data quality control, supervising and training of personnel, and providing timely and quality assistance to customers.

Created and managed subsurface oil and gas well database containing digitized wireline logs. Imported information from other databases. Installed Windows NT operating systems, configured other computers on LAN to share and backup data among project participants as well as provide for security. Developed web site  with dynamically generated pages to search this database online.
